Animist Ministry
I became an ordained Animist Minister through the Web of Life Church, October 2022.
Whatever your philosophy or spiritual beliefs, I practice inclusion and find diversity in nature's healthiest environments. You can be whatever flower you want to be in the garden of life. The practice of Animism informs the way I work with plants, humans and the integrity for which I approach my own life.
Folks ask me what Animism is and these are some words to describe it.
An understanding that all things animate and inanimate possess a spirit or essence
Attribution of soul to animals plants,
& geographical places
Earth honoring
A belief in a supernatural power(s) that organizes and animates the material universe
"A process that encourages an individual to see themselves as equal in the web of life, as a contributor to a sustainable lifestyle" Web of Life Church

Hearthealing Aromatherapy
This is an opportunity to work with essential oils and address the emotional needs of the heart. Following a conversation about what you would like to heal, a brief health consult is conducted. Your bespoke (unique) aromatherapy blend is created from our conversation.
Aromatherapy can be supportive while experiencing emotional and/or archetypal life transitions. Our sense of smell comes from our olfactory nerve ending in the part of the brain responsible for emotions and memory. Using scent and ritual we can support our emotional health.

Education & Ceremony
Animism & Spiritual Practices with Plants is an inclusive workshop focusing on the plants we associate with spiritual ceremonial and ritual practices. After learning how we form relationships with plants, we'll create a sacred object or a botanical formulation.

What is a good Death?
An hour of conversation talking about the impermanence of life. I am certified as a death midwife through Earth Traditions and an ordained animist minister through The Web of Life Church. I am comfortable speaking about death impermanence and grief, while holding a welcome space for any person to explore their ideas and feelings.
It is not an age related phenomenon that many folks have concern(s) regarding their own death and emotions connected to the ways in which mortality impacts us.
I find by honestly addressing my fears and planning/visualizing/accepting the actual end of my life, I am empowered rather than fearful.
Our conversation can be once or ongoing. Payment is through donation. This is not mental health counseling. This is a supportive conversation that can be safely held using video, phone or in-person.

A 1 oz bespoke blend of anointing oil formulated to provide comfort, dignity and gentle touch for the dying person. An aromatic support that is not topical can also be provided. Our olfactory nerve ends in the part of the brain that regulates memory and emotion. Through the process of dying aroma/scent may provide emotional and physical comfort for a loved one, as well as for the community supporting the dying person.

Education & Grief Resources
The Grief Workshop
The Grief Workshop begins with a gentle story about loss, followed by a facilitated discussion around the grief we experience through our work as advocates and first responders.
While grief is associated with death, it is also a common emotion that pairs with any experience of loss. I'll provide ways we can address this for ourselves and each other. Then, close the workshop with a ceremonial exercise focusing on the element of water, which allows attendees to collectively release grief with support.
